NO, as long as you want to have a go there is no reason why you couldn’t try it out in the pool. Then work towards a dive in the sea, by having a floatation device attached to you, you are in no danger, and you will have a instructor all to yourself, you will walk into the sea all fall forwards and gently drift along watching the fish. However you would need to be able to swim to complete your open water diver course. YES, we have a 7.5 meter rib which we use for all our boat dives. We also have access to many areas for shore dives, including our own house reef. The water temp is between 18 degrees in the winter (February) to 24 degrees in the summer (September). A DSD for example is 2 customers to 1 instructor even 1 on 1 if you’re a little nervous. All our dives are lead by either an instructor or a dive master who are familair with all the divesites. 8 to 88 so no excuses there. Dive time varies depending on depth and location from 30 mins to 1 hour average would be 45 mins. Swim wear and a towel we can provide the rest. No problem. You can do a refresh course on our housereef with one of our instructors and after that you are ready to go out to explore the rest of our divesites. Yes we have snorkel equipment for sale and hire classes and tours also available. YES, you get discount for full or partial equipment hire. If you use a lot of air we can set you up with a 15 liter tank instead of a 12 for no extra charge. Please do all family members are welcome to be a spectator or to join in. We can arrange pickups from your hotel to the dive centre, or we are easily accessible by bus or if you have your own car parking is also available. |
